Argentina Starts AD Probe on PET from China

On May 29, 2012, the Foreign Trade Secretariat under Argentina Ministry of Economy & Public Finance addressed a note to China's diplomatic organ that it has decided to launch an antidumping (AD) probe on PET (polyethylene terephthalate) with intrinsic viscosity ranging from 0.7dl/g to 0.86dl/g originating in South Korea, China, Chinese Taiwan, India and Thailand, according to the Ministry’s Resolution No. 39, 2012.

The investigated products are under Mercosur HS Code 3907.60.00.

China’s respondent enterprises can download the anti-dumping investigation questionnaire from China’s diplomatic organ’s website, and submit their finished questionnaire to the Unfair Competition Office under the Foreign Trade Secretariat within 30 days after receiving this notice. Related evidencing materials should be offered at latest within 10 workdays following the initial ruling.
