On August 2, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) made a sunset-review ruling to sustain an antidumping (AD) duty on stationery paper originating in China by claiming that revoking the antidumping duty would lead to continuous injury to American industries within a foreseeable time.
As per U.S. trade remedy procedure, based on the ITC ruling, the U.S. will continue the antidumping duty on the China-made stationery paper.
In 2006 earliest, the U.S. ruled the Chinese products are involved in dumping and imposed its antidumping duties at 76.7%-258.21%; in November 2011, the government started a renewed sunset review on the case.
