U.S. Interim AD Duty on Hot-rolled Flat Steels from China

Reportedly, the U.S. Department of Commerce released its preliminary antidumping findings on hot-rolled flat steel products from China, covering 18 Chinese enterprises like Ansteel and Baosteel, the probe period from November 1, 2010 to December 31, 2011.
According to the probe results, Ansteel will face a substantial raise of its antidumping duty rate from 31.09% to 90.83%; the rate on Baosteel will remain 12.39%; the remaining 16 Chinese steelmakers will all be subject to the interim 90.83% antidumping duty.
The Department will make its final ruling in December 2012.
