Recently, Morocco's foreign-trade ministry decided, in its final antidumping ruling, to levy a five-year antidumping duty at 25% on plywood from China.

In May 2011, Morocco started the antidumping probe, and in December 2011, made an affirmative preliminary ruling with an interim antidumping duty at 25%.

According to Moroccan media, Morocco's plywood import from China has increased from 2006's 1,316 cubic meters to 12,500 cubic meters in 2010, accounting for 49.93% of its total, surpassing those from Egypt (14.69%), Tunis (7.77%) and Spain (7.12%).
