U.S. Sunset-Review Injury Ruling on Pure Magnesium from China

[2012-09-14 14:52:07]

On September 12, 2012, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) determined that revoking the existing antidumping duty order on pure magnesium (granular) from China would lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time.

As a result of the Commission's affirmative ruling, the existing antidumping duties on pure magnesium from China will remain in place.

On November 14, 2000, U.S. Department Of Commerce started the antidumping probe under HS Code 81043000;

On September 27, 2001, the Department finally ruled the Chinese dumping margin of 24.67%-305.56%;

On February 1, 2012, the Department started its second sunset review on the case.
