India to Take AD Probe on Photovoltaic Products from China

Reportedly, India's anti-dumping bureau says that it received a petition by Indian industry on September 12 for taking antidumping (AD) probes into solar cell panels from China mainland, Chinese Taiwan, Malaysia and the U.S.

Along with similar antidumping activities by the EU and U.S., the Indian antidumping probe will cause impact, but relatively limited, on China mainland photovoltaic sector.

On September 6, the EU announced starting its antidumping probe on China-made photovoltaic cells. The EU market takes in about 60% of photovoltaic exports from China, signaling the start of the value-biggest Chinese trade dispute.
