U.S. Sunset Review on Steel Concrete Reinforcing Bars

 
On October 9, the U.S. International Trade Commission decided to start a full sunset review for antidumping on steel concrete reinforcing bars from China, Belarus, Indonesia, Latvia, Moldova, Poland and Ukraine to make certain whether revoking the antidumping order would lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury by those imports within a reasonably foreseeable time.

On July 20, 2000, U.S. Department of Commerce launched the antidumping probe under HS Code 72130000, and on June 22, 2001, finally ruled a 133.00% antidumping duty on the Chinese products.
