EU Cuts AD Duties on Screws/Bolts from China

On October 10, the EU authority said it has cut its antidumping (AD) duty rates on screws and bolts made in China from 26.5%-85% down to 22.9%-74.1% according to a ruling of the WTO's Dispute Settlement Body.

In 2009, the EU imposed the 26.5%-85% antidumping duties on Chinese screws and bolts, involving more than 200 Chinese enterprises, and China resorted to the WTO’s Dispute Settlement Body over the EU antidumping measures.

On July 15, 2011, the Dispute Settlement Body ruled that China should win the lawsuit. And therefore, the EU antidumping duties are reduced to the rates of 22.9%-74.1%.
