India Safeguard Sunset Review on Phthalic Anhydrides

 
On October 26, India authority started its safeguard sunset review into phthalic anhydrides under HS Code 29173500 at the request of Thirumalai Chemicals Ltd., IG Petrochemicals Ltd. and Mysore Petrochemicals Ltd.

In August 2011, India started its probe for safeguard against importing phthalic anhydrides;

In March 2012, India finally ruled a safeguard duty at 10% for one year on the imports from Pakistan, China and Thailand, except other developing countries/regions.
