EU Interim Duties on China Ceramic Tableware/Kitchenware

 
Reportedly, on November 15, the European Commission announced its levy of provisional duties on ceramic tableware and kitchenware from China.

In October, 14 EU members, among 27, voiced opposition to the levy on China ceramics, pressing the EU to reconsider the scheme.

Regarding the formal duties, the Union has to seek votes by majority member states, so the vote is to be conducted on May 15 next year, with its result valid for 5 years.
