Canada Rules Injury Threat by China Steel Pipe Piles

On November 30, 2012, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal announced a final injury ruling that steel pipe piles from China have posed an injurious threat to Canadian domestic industry with their dumping and subsidy.

Correspondingly, Canada Border Services Agency will levy antidumping and anti-subsidy duties on the Chinese steel pipe piles.

On May 4, 2012, the Border Services Agency started the double-anti probe under HS Codes 73063000.14, 73063000.19, 73063000.24, 73063000.29, 73063000.34, 73063000.39;

On October 31, 2012, the Agency finally ruled antidumping duties at 72.9%-96.4% and anti-subsidy duties at CNY 419.82-641.35/ton on those imports.
