Canada Rulings on China Zinc-Coated Steel Wires

On March 22, 2013, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal issued an announcement and decided to make preliminary ruling of anti-dumping and anti-subsidy industrial damage to zinc-coated steel wires originating in China, Israel and Spain, judging that the dumping and subsidy of involved products have made material damage or damage threat to relative industries in Canada.

According to this affirmative ruling, the Canadian Border Service will continue to take anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigation on this case and will make preliminary ruling of anti-dumping and anti-subsidy on April 22, 2013.

On January 21, 2013, the Canadian Border Service issued an announcement, saying that it decided to initiate anti-dumping investigation on zinc-coated wires from China, Israel and Spain. At the same time, it took anti-subsidy investigation on zinc-coated wire from China, under HS Codes 7217.20.00.11, 7217.20.00.12, 7217.20.00.19, 7217.20.00.21, 7217.20.00.22, 7217.20.00.29, 7217.20.00.31, 7217.20.00.32, 7217.20.00.39, 7217.90.00.10 and 7217.90.00.90.
