Canada Rules Injury by China Welded Carbon-Steel Pipes

On August 19, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) announced its final sunset-review ruling on welded carbon-steel pipes made in China, which indicate that revoking the antidumping and anti-subsidy measures would lead to continuation or recurrence of the material injury by the imported products within a reasonably foreseeable time.

Accordingly, the current antidumping and anti-subsidy measures will remain in place.

On July 21, 2008, the Canada Border Services Agency ruled the Chinese dumping at 97%-179% and subsidy at 25%-113% under HS Codes 73063010.14, 73063090.14, 73063090.29, 73063010.24, 73063090.19, 73063090.34, 73063010.34, 73063090.24 and 73063090.39.

On December 5, 2012, the CITT started the sunset review on those Chinese products.
