Peru Probes China Hot-Rolled Steel Pipes Dumping

On October 23, Peru's authority INDECOPI notified China's diplomatic mission that it has decided to launch an antidumping probe into hot-rolled steel pipes from China at the instance of Peruvian companies TUPESA and PRECOR.
The hot-rolled steel pipes involve the following varieties:
According to the authority's Resolution 283-2013/CFD-INDECOPI, the China-made products had a 12.8% dumping margin on the Peru market; for the investigated period, with a causal relationship confirmed, relevant domestic industries were injured by the dumping of those Chinese products; so the authority decided to launch the antidumping investigation; the involved parties involved can submit self-defending materials within six months from the issue of the Resolution.
