U.S. Sunset Ruling on China Raw Flexible Magnets

On December 23, U.S. Commerce Department made an expedited sunset-review ruling on the raw flexible magnets from China and Chinese Taiwan that, if the U.S. antidumping duties are canceled, the injury would continue or reoccur at the rates below:

1. Chinese company under a separate duty rate: Guangzhou Newlife Magnet Electricity Co., Ltd. by 105.00%;

2. Mainland Chinese general rate: 185.28%

The rulings for Chinese Taiwan firms:

1. Kin Fong Magnets Co., Ltd: 38.03%;

2. Magruba Flexible Magnets Co., Ltd: 38.03%;

3. JASDI Magnet Co., Ltd: 38.03%;

4. Taiwanese general rate: 31.20%

On August 1, the U.S. authority launched the antidumping sunset review under HS Codes 8505191000 and 8505192000.
