U.S. 2nd Double-Anti Probe on China Photovoltaic Cells

On January 23, U.S. Commerce Department announced starting antidumping and anti-subsidy probes into the photovoltaic (PV) products from mainland China, its second double-anti probe since November 2011, along with an antidumping probe into those from Chinese Taiwan.
The involved products are Crystalline Silicon Photovoltaic Cells, including but not limited to the batteries, assembly, laminated boards, panels and building materials containing such PV cells, under U.S. HS Codes: 8501.61.0000, 8507.20.8030, 8507.20.8040, 8507.20.8060, 8507.20.8090, 8541.40.6020, 8541.40.6030 and 8501.31.8000.
In addition, the U.S. International Trade Commission will give a preliminary ruling on industrial injury around February 14, 2014; if the Commission's ruling is affirmative, the Commerce Department will make its preliminary anti-subsidy ruling around March 28, 2014 and preliminary antidumping ruling around June 11, 2014.
