Iran to Lower the Import Duty on Autos

According to the report from Iran Daily on March 13, Iran Parliament passed new proposes to lower the import duty on autos to 70% from annual March 21 in Iran. From 2001, there were 13 state-owned and private auto manufacturers. This initiative of cutting tariffs aims to push domestic auto manufacturers to participate in the competition to promote the auto quality as well as to cope with the Western Countries' economic sanctions on Iran.
