Russia to Raise Export Duty on Petroleum for June 2010 to USD 291–294 per Ton

It was reported on May 12, 2010 by Reuters in Moscow that, according to the latest statistics from the Ministry of Finance of Russia and the calculation by Reuters, in response to the rise in oil prices, Russia is likely to raise the export duty on petroleum for June 2010 to between USD 291 per ton and USD 294 per ton from current USD 284 per ton, up 2.5%-3.5% compared with that in May 2010.
