Russia, Kazakhstan to Bilaterally Carry out Customs Law of Customs Union as of July 1, 2010

According to a report on May 28, 2010 from the Interfax, Russian Prime Minister Mr. Putin said at a press conference held on that day in St. Petersburg, Russia and Kazakhstan have reached a consensus on leading off the implementation of the customs law of the customs union on a bilateral basis as of July 1, 2010, and both Russia and Kazakhstan would like to see Belarus to adopt all the agreements and decisions passed by the customs union in the second phase.
