Vietnam's Import Duties on Some Battery Trucks only 3%

As stipulated in the detailed guidance rules on classification of battery trucks issued by Vietnam's Ministry of Finance, the import duty rate on battery trucks for freight and traction used in factories, warehouses, ports, and airports shall be 3%, while the import duty rate of 80% shall apply to other battery trucks with a carrying capacity of no more than 5 tons and structure like general trucks participating in highway transportation.
