Vietnam Imposes Tariff Rate of 150% on Imported Second-Hand Passenger Service Vehicles with 16 Seats or More

Recently, the Vietnam Ministry of Finance issued a notice of tariff on imported second-hand automobiles. It was said that the tariff rate was 150% for importing second-hand passenger service vehicles with 16 seats or more and the old trucks with load of 5 tons or less. In addition, they would levy tariff rate of 50% higher than preferential tariffs on other imported second-hand automobiles, which is 1.5 times the tariff rate on imported new automobiles.
