Vietnam Exempts Import Taxes on Non-Calcined Building & Production Materials and Equipment

 

According to the Vietnam Investment Report, the Vietnam Ministry of Finance decided to exempt import taxes on non-calcined building/production materials and equipment recently. The tax-exempted products refer to crane car, dump truck, hydraulic extrusion press, cutting machine, steam pressure equipment, brick collecting machine, aluminum powder, etc.

According to Vietnamese plan, the non-calcined bricks will take up 20%-25% by 2015 and. increase to 30% -40% by 2020.
