Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan Customs Union Cancelled Import Tariff on Railway Motor-Power and Non-Motor-Power Coach

According to the news by the Interfax from Moscow, the Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan Customs Union Committee announced to cancel import tariff on railway motor-power and non-motor-power coach and the duration for zero tariff was two years. The related decisions (No. 534) had been posted on its website. The exempted tariff refers to the objects as follows: railway motor-power and non-motor-power coach with its running speed from 140 kilometers/hour to 250 kilometers/hour, streetcar coach, passenger car coach, freight coach, baggage car coach and open-formed flatcar.

Recently, the import tariff on railway motor-power and non-motor-power coach by the Customs Union is 10%. The decision on canceling import tariff will take into effect one month since the issuing date on its website.
