Exempted Tariff on 94% of Commodities in 10 Years by Japan-India EPA

On February 16, 2011, the EPA was signed by Japan and India. According to the Agreement, tariff on commodities, which takes 94% of total trade value of two countries, will be gradually abolished 10 years after the EPA takes into effect.

According to the EPA,Japan's disadvantaged agricultural products [17.51 0.00%], like rice, wheat, beef, pork, etc. are out of the list; while the industry for Japan, like automobile parts, steel products, mechanical products, etc. Mostly will enjoy the tariff exemption.
