Russia Again Raises Export Tariff on Petroleum Products to Tajikistan

Russian Government recently passed a proposal, raising again the export tariff on petroleum products to Tajikistan by 5.3% per ton, reaching USD 250.6 per ton from previous USD 232.2 per ton, up USD 18.4. The new tariff takes effect as from March 1, 2011.

As per the Russian media, starting from April 1, 2011, Russia's export tariff on petroleum products may be further raised to USD 285 per ton.

Russia is the major importing country of petroleum for Tajikistan, the import quantity accounting for about 93% of the country's total import value of petroleum.
