Argentina Initates Anti-dumping Investigation on X-ray Films

On March 28, 2011, the Government of Argentina, by means of Resolution No. 58/2011, opened an anti-dumping investigation on imports of flat, photographic, plastic, x-ray films used for medicinal purposes (N.C.M. 3701.10.29) from the United States of America. The opening of the investigation was requested by the local producer Agfa Gevaert Argentina S.A. The dumping margin for the purpose of opening the investigation was calculated to be 84.73%.

Interested parties have a 30-day period to appear and to produce evidence as of the receipt of the questionnaires, which will be furnished by the Argentine Anti-dumping Authorities 10 days after the opening of the investigation.
