Argentina Initiates Anti-dumping Investigation on Sunglasses and Frames

On April 7, 2011, the Government of Argentina,by means of Resolution 75/2011, opened an anti-dumping investigation on imports of sun glasses and frames for glasses and corrective goggles from the People's Republic of China. (N.C.M. 9003.11.00, 9003.19.10, 9003.19.90, 9004.90.10 and 9004.10.00.). The dumping margin for the purpose of opening the investigation was calculated to be 3,979.43%. Brazil has been selected as the third country in order to determine the normal value of the product. Interested parties have a 10-day period as of the day after publication of this Resolution to comment on this selection.
