On November 25, 2011, the Government of Argentina, published Resolution 499/2011, opening a review procedure of the antidumping measure imposed by Resolution 912/2006 to imports of thermos and other isothermal containers with a stainless steel ampoule of 2.5 liters or less in capacity, from the People's Republic of China (N.C.M. 9617.00.10). The measure consisted of an antidumping duty calculated over a minimum FOB export price for a 5-year period. Local firm Lumilagro S.A. requested a re-opening of the dumping investigation, and a review of the mentioned antidumping measure.

The dumping margin for the purposes of opening this review procedure was found to be 174,23%. Furthermore, the aforementioned product was found to be commercialized at a price 21% to 54% lower than the price of the equivalent national product. The antidumping measure will remain in force for the duration of the review procedure. Resolution (in Spanish) News item provided by Allende & Brea.
